Whether multi-character labelling, ready-to-use markers with standard printing or individual, custom markers, whether white or coloured or group designations at terminals, the comprehensive range of Weidmüller products solves every marking task simply, quickly and clearly. The tables on the following pages show which markers fit the various terminal series. The terminal pitch governs the selection of a marker. For example, a WDU 2.5 terminal has a pitch of 5 mm, the WS 12/5 marker is 12 mm long and suitable for a 5 mm pitch. W series Z series Whole blocks of terminals can be marked as a strip using the Weidmüller system. When a terminal with a larger pitch has to be marked (e.g. WDU 16), a smaller marker (e.g. WS 12/5) can be clipped onto it. Most of the markers are compatible with each other. I series The two traditional marker series, DEK and WS, are available as ready-to-use markers. And these markers are also available in the MultiCard format for printing by users themselves. P series Owing to the sheer number of possible applications and environmental influences such as moisture, radiation, gases or heat/cold to which the products can be exposed, Weidmüller accepts no liability for the suitability of products in all customer applications. Suitability tests for specific applications must therefore be carried out by the customer. However, Weidmüller will be happy to provide help and advice upon request.
