PLD Programmers' News *09/30/02: ATF16V8CZ: The problem occurs with Needhams -EMP11 and EMP30 that are not programming the ATF16V8CZ device correctly. The incorrect programming results in different fuses in the UES-User electronic signature row. *07/31/02: ATV2500B/BL/BQ/BQL: The problem occurs with reading and saving a pattern from a device. The ALL-11 programmer (from HILO) works fine, but there is a problem with ALL-07 programmer with software Ver3.08. The pattern read back from ALL-07 programmer is incorrect. *07/31/02: ATV2500B/BL/BQ/BQL: BP Microsystems - S/W Rev 3.67A (DOS) released on 7/30/02 is required to correctly program the ATV2500B family of devices.The pin-scrambler adapter is no longer required to program/verify/read the ATV2500B family. CrossProgramming device types are now implemented to allow users to cross-program an ATV2500H/L pattern into ATV2500B/BQ/BQL. Version 3.67A (DOS) has an option for Pin-Scrambler Adapter and Nonadapter devices types. *07/15/02: ATF1500A/ABV/AL: ALL-07 (HILO) has updated the software V3.12. This fixed the problem with incorrect reading of the Pin Keeper fuse. Occursif device/jedec file is loaded into buffer and then saved back from the Buffer into Disk. *06/06/02: ATF2500C/CQ/CL/CQL: BP-Microsystems has implemented the S/W V3.65 Beta to support for PLCC package type and PLCC cross-programming as well. Needhams- Windows V1.3 has support for all package types. The modified family module 303A is required for the PLCC package type. HiLo(Tribal Microsystem) has support for ATF2500C on ALL-11 only with S/W V3.23C for all package types including cross-programming. The CNV-PLCC-ATF2500C adapter is required for the PLCC44 package type. Data I/O Unisite/3900 - V6.8 Ext. Algorithm has programming support for all package types including cross-programming. * 10/10/01: ATF22V10C(UES)/CZ(UES): On BP-Micro Programmers with S/W Rev. V3.60a, users may ecounter "Invalid device ID" error message, when trying to program with newer date code parts 0101 and later. Please update S/W to V3.61aBeta * 09/06/01 ATF20V8C: For Hilo(Tribal Microsystems) support exists on Flex700 with V3.49 and All-11 with V3.13A. Needhams has implemented support for windows platform for both EMP30 and EMP11 with V1.2 to program with newer date code-(0100 and later) * 09/06/01 ATF22LV10CQ/CQZ: Hilo(Tribal Microsys) has implemented support for Flex700 with V3.49A and All-11 with V3.13. Needhams has implemented support for windows platform for both EMP30 and EMP11 with Software Rev. V1.2 Needhams supports this device on an EMP20 with S/W Rev V4.16 for DOS platform. BP-Microsystems has implemented support with S/W Rev. V3.59A * 09/27/00 ATF22V10B: Data I/O Unisite, 3900 Extended Algorithm V6.3 has corrected a manufacturer ID check error. Please Device Programming Support List use this algorithm if you've encountered ID check problem with the ATF22V10B. * 04/05/00 ATF1502AS/ASV: Data I/O Unisite/3900 - V6.2 and 6.3 Extended Algorithms have programming support for all package types. * 04/05/00 ATV2500B: Data I/O Unisite/3900 - V6.2 and 6.3 Extended Algorithms added cross-programming support in DIP package type. * 02/18/00 ATF750C/CL/LVC/LVCL: Data I/O Unisite/3900 - V6.2 Extended Algorithm and BP Microsystem V3.46 have programming support with revised programming spec. * 08/13/99 ATF750C/CL: Data I/O Extended Algorithms V6.0 (750CV60.EXE) for Unisite, 3900, 2900 and Autosite now support the SOIC package type also. * 08/10/99 ATF16V8C: Xeltek programmer might not program the Power-Down mode bit correctly. * 08/05/99 ATF22LV10C/CZ: Needham's SW V4.09 has corrected programming problem. * 07/09/99 ATF750C/CL: Data I/O Extended Algorithms V6.0 for Unisite, 3900, 2900 and Autosite is available on Atmel BBS and website (750CV60.EXE). * 06;29/99 ATF750C/CL: Needham's EMP20 V4.07 and HiLo/Tribal All-07/Flex-700 V3.47B have programming supports for the ATF750C/CL. Needham's and HiLo/Tribal programmer uses DIP JEDEC files for both DIP and PLCC devices. ATF750C/CL: BP-1200 V3.41 is available on BP's website to support ATF750C/CL in 24-pin DIP and 28-pin PLCC. * 04/29/99 ATF16V8C: You may experience programming failures when programming a part using Needham's EMP20 Programmer with Software Rev 4.04. Workaround is to use an earlier Rev 4.01 * 02/18/99 ATF1500ABV: BP-1200 has programming support for the ATf1500ABV in 44-pin PLCC/TQFP packages; has test vector support at 2.7 V - 3.6 V ATF22V10C/CZ: Data- I/O has modified their algorithm to support Vectors; Use this alg. if you encounter - Device Overcurrent Error when running test vectors Keep Current version available on Data _I/O website for Rev 5.8 and 5.9 * 02/08/99 ATF1504AS: Needham's SW V3.99 has programming support for 44, 84 PLCC, 44 TQFP, 100 TQFP, and 100 PQFP package types. Requires a specially modified #23 Family Module. Please contact ATMEL EPLD Applications or Needham's Electronics for modification instruction. * 11/02/98 With BP Microsystems software version 3.36, checksum loaded into buffer from a JEDEC file is incorrect for ATF1500 device type. Workaround is to backrev to version 3.35, which is only available on the BP BBS (713-688-9284). * 10/02/98 ATF1504AS: System General has support for 44 PLCC/TQFP, 68 PLCC, 84 PLCC, and 100 PQFP package types on FXand M-APRO programmers. * 10/01/98 ATF16V8B: BP has support for ATF16V8B with new die and new Manufacturer ID.
