A VLS3 series connector is an FPC connector designed for automotive application such as an inverter, a battery charger, a DC-DC converter and others in operating environments where vibration and mechanical shock are present. The new connector is different from a general FPC connector and satisfies the requirements for automotive use. Specifications are shown in Table.1. Appearance is shown in Fig.1. Resistance to vibration and mechanical shock The locking mechanism ensures a strong and lasting connection under a variety of environmental conditions. Needs a special tool for un-mating the connector. 2. Operating temperature The operating temperature range from -40 ∞C to +125 ∞C is suited to equipment for automotive use. 3.
