LCD Monitors by Sharp—
Highly Functional and with a Choice of Sizes
Whether it’s a public space or a commercial location, Sharp has a versatile LCD monitor to convey your
message with visual panache. Sized 55, 47, 42, or 32 inches, the PN-Y555/Y475/Y425/Y325 monitors
display content beautifully in both landscape and portrait installations. A built-in USB media player
supports PC-free playback of your display content. And signage functionality can be enhanced with
optional Sharp Digital Signage Software. With these professional LCD monitors, Sharp expands the
scope of full-HD digital signage.
Versatile, High-Performance Digital Signage
Designed to Suit a Huge Range of Applications
Excellent Image Quality
Fanless Architecture
Full HD (1,920 × 1,080) resolution brings images to life with vivid,
true-to-life details. Everything from thin lines to fine text to
photographic images can be displayed in stunning clarity. The effect
is enhanced by a narrow and unobtrusive bezel of 16 mm* which
gives these monitors a modern look that emphasises the onscreen
content.
The PN-Y555/Y475/Y425/Y325 monitors incorporate a fanless
architecture that serves to facilitate monitor maintenance. The
fanless design maintains airflow and dissipates heat without the use
of mechanical air-ventilation fans, which can attract dust and create
noise.
* 24 mm for PN-Y325.
Built-in Temperature Sensor
A built-in sensor detects rising temperatures inside the monitor and
prompts automatic adjustment of the backlight system so that
temperatures remain within operational limits*.
USB Media Player
A built-in USB media player allows playback of
still images and videos stored on a connected
USB memory device. Users can set up the
system to play slideshows of promotional or
informational content without using a PC. For
added security, each model comes with a USB
flash drive cover to prevent theft of the data
storage device.
* The monitor automatically goes into standby mode if the internal temperature remains
consistently above operational levels.
Mirror Display Mode (Daisy Chain)
USB flash drive cover
Supported media formats: JPEG and PNG for still images; MP4, WMV, and TS for videos;
and MP3 and WMA for audio. JPEG (.jpg) and WMV (.wmv) files can be played automatically.
USB storage device sold separately.
Mirror Display mode enables the same onscreen content to be
displayed on a series of daisy chained PN-Y555/Y475/Y425/Y325
monitors. This function can be used to reinforce advertising
messages in public spaces or to facilitate communications in large
office or conference settings.
Choice of Screen Size and
Installation Mode
The PN-Y555/Y475/Y425/Y325 monitors come in four sizes—55,
47, 42, and 32 inches—to suit a huge range of diverse display
scenarios. And to match the application and content on display, the
monitors can be set up in either a landscape or a portrait
orientation. A portrait installation offers the look and impact of a
poster, whereas a landscape installation provides a vivid canvas for
wider scenes.
ID Setting
Thanks to an RS-232C interface, PN-Y555/Y475/Y425/Y325
monitors* can be easily controlled and monitored from a central
location via a PC. Each monitor can be assigned an individual ID
code to specify when remotely turning that monitor on or off,
switching its input, or making various screen adjustments and
settings.
* PN-Y555/Y475/Y425/Y325 monitors can be connected together in a daisy chain
configuration.
RS-232C straight cable
Built-in Speakers
Built-in speakers eliminate the need for external speakers and keep
the PN-Y555/Y475/Y425/Y325 monitors stylishly streamlined. The
speakers emit sound from both sides of the monitor, making them
ideal for conveying audio information and playing
location-appropriate background music.

*1 Brightness depends on input mode and other picture settings. Brightness level will decrease slightly over the lifetime of the product. Due to the physical limitations of the equipment, it is not possible to maintain a precisely constant level of brightness. *2 Use a commercially
available connection cable for PC and other video connections. *3 Analogue PC, video, and component video are switchable (via the bottom interface); use the menu to select. Note that video and component video inputs require a conversion cable connected via the mini D-sub 15-pin
jack. *4 Supported media formats: JPEG and PNG for still images; WMV, MP4, and TS for videos; and MP3 and WMA for audio. JPEG (.jpg) and WMV (.wmv) files can be played automatically. *5 Size of USB device (incl. terminal) usable with cover: max. 50 × 20 × 12 mm (L×W×H)
