An ultra-compact coaxial connector has been released. PSH3 series is a succession product of the former PSH2 series, and has been designed to achieve significantly low profile as well as to keep high frequency characteristics. The height of the connector after mating is the lowest in the world. Table 1 shows the specifications and Fig. 1 shows the appearance. Figs. 2 and 3 show the high frequency characteristics. New Products Features 1. Low profile ·The mating height is 0.82mm. The profile is 45% lower than PSH2 series and is the lowest mating height in the world today. 2. High frequency characteristics ·The new product keeps the same VSWR as PSH2 series in spite of the lower profile. ·The VSWR’s are 1.3 maximum from DC to 3GHz and 1.5 maximum from DC to 6GHz. ·An applicable coaxial cable for PSH3 is 0.63mm f in diameter. Nevertheless the cable size is smaller than PSG2 series (0.81mm f), the insertion loss of PSH3 is the same as PSH2 series. Ultra Compact Coaxial (DDK Ltd.
