Optional MPX™ IPC™ Locking Clamp The MPX IPC Locking Clamp is applied to limit removal of the MPX IPC. The standard MPX IPC allows for quick removal from the MPX PEM™ by opening the connector latching mechanism. The Locking Clamp reduces the chance of accidental removal of the MPX IPC—the clamp must be removed before the connector can be opened. The Locking Clamp is optional and not required for normal Liebert® MPX™ system application. To attach the MPX IPC Locking Clamp: Spread the retaining tabs to open the clamp. 1. Wrap the clamp around the MPX IPC connector. 2. Press the ridged tongue into the retaining tabs. 3. Spread the retaining tabs to open the clamp. 4. Wrap the clamp around the MPX IPC connector. 5. Press the ridged tongue into the retaining tabs.
