Die elektrischen Verbindungen dürfen nicht unter Last getrennt und gesteckt werden. Je nach Lichteinstrahlung kann vom Modul erzeugte Spannung anliegen. HINWEIS Sollten andere Komponenten, Hilfsmimttel oder Handwerkzeuge als die von Weidmüller angegebenen bei der Montage eingesetzt werden, kann weder die Richtigkeit noch die Einhaltung der technischen Daten garantiert werden. Die PV-Steckverbinder dürfen keinen mechanischen Belastungen ausgesetzt werden. Um eine stabile elektrische Verbindung sicherzustellen, dürfen nur verzinnte Kabel nach 2 PfG 1169/08.2007 eingesetzt werden. Aus Sicherheitsgründen dürfen die PV-Steckverbinder in keinem direkten Kontakt mit Produkten oder Medien (inklusive Gase) geraten, welche Benzin, Kerosin oder Weichmacher enthalten. Nicht verbundene Steckverbinder sollten während der Montage vor Schmutz und Wasser geschützt werden. WM4 Buchsenkontakte sind nicht mit WM4 C Buchsen gehäusen kompatibel und andersherum! Stellen Sie bei der Montage sicher, dass nur die erlaubten Verbindungen von Kontakten und Gehäusen gemacht werden! WM4 Kontakte nur mit WM4 Gehäusen und WM4 C Kontakte nur mit WM4 C Gehäusen, etwaige andere Verbindungen sind verboten. Stellen Sie sicher, dass spannungsführende Teile wie Kontakte oder Kabel keinen Erdschluss erzeugen. Die Gewährleistung beschränkt sich auf die Kombination von Weidmüller-PV-Steckverbindern. Stellen Sie vor dem Verbau sicher, dass der O-Ring des Steckverbinders schmutzfrei ist. Andernfalls führt dies zu einem sofortigen Erlöschen jeglicher Garantie- und Gewährleistungsansprüche des Bedieners gegenüber dem Hersteller. WARNING! The electrical connections must not be disconnected and plugged under load. Depending on the light intensity, voltage, generated by the module, may be present. The PV plug-in connectors must not be subjected to any mechanical loads. For reasons of safety, the PV plug-in connectors must be kept away from products or mediums (including gases) that contain petrol, kerosine or plasticizer. Contacts of WM4 are not compatible with WM4C housings and vice versa! Make sure during installation that only the allowed combinations of contacts and housings are made! WM4 contacts only with WM4 housings and WM4C contacts only with WM4C housings, any other combination are prohibited. Otherwise this will lead immedialtey to the expiry of all guarantee and warranty claims on the part of the operator against the manufacturer. To ensure a stable electrical connection, only tinned cables in accordance with 2 PfG 1169/08.2007 may be used. Disconnected connectors should be protected from dirt and water during assembly. Make sure that live parts such as contacts or cables do not produce a ground fault. The warranty is limited to the combination of Weidmüller PV connectors. Strip the cable to a length of 8 ±1 mm. Benötigtes Werkzeug: Multi-Stripax PV (1190490000) Required tool: Multi-Stripax PV (1190490000). Die Abisolierlänge kann in dem Handwerkzeug eingestellt werden. The stripping length can be adjusted at the tool. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Einzellitzen beschädigt werden! Take care not to damage individual strands of the cable. Schritt 2: Crimpkontakte / Step 2: Crimping contacts WM 4 C und BOX WM4 C / WM 4 C and BOX WM4 C Den Metallkontakt in das Handwerkzeug legen. Kabelquerschnitt und Kavität entsprechend zuordnen. Der Locator hilft, den Kontakt geeignet zu positionieren. Für das Crimpen die für den Leitungsquerschnitt vorgesehene Kammer nutzen. Der Positionsgeber muss auf „WM4“ eingestellt werden. Put the metal contact into the manual tool. Use the correct cavity for the cable cross section. The locator helps you to position the contact properly. Use the appropriate cavities for the conductor cross section crimping process. The locator need to be set to “WM4”. Benötigtes Werkzeug: Crimpwerkzeug PV (1222870000) Required tool: Crimping tool PV (1222870000) Das Kabel in den Crimpbereich führen und die Crimpzange komplett betätigen. Insert the cable into the crimp area and press the crimping pliers completely. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Beschädigungen oder scharfe Kanten am Crimp sichtbar sind. Anleitung / Instructions Schritt 3: Montage im Gehäuse / Step 3: Mounting in the housing WM 4 C und BOX WM4 C / WM4 C and BOX WM4 C Den gecrimpten Kontakt in das zugehörige Gehäuse gleichmäßig bis zum Endanschlag eindrücken. Achten Sie darauf, dass der gecrimpte Kontakt hörbar mit einem “Klick” verrastet. Press the crimped contact evenly into the housing until the contact has reached its end position, and a “click” can be heard. Prüfen Sie die korrekte Verrastung des gecrimpten Kontaktes durch einen leichten Zug am Kabel. Pull slightly on the cable to test that the contact has latched correctly in the housing. WARNUNG! / WARNING! Stecken Sie keinen WM4 Kontakt in das Gehäuse des WM4 C Steckverbinders! Do not use a WM4 contact for the connector housing of the WM4 C connector! Step 4a: Assembly of housing / Step 4a: Assembly of housing nur WM4 C / only WM4 C Die Kabeldurchführung mit der Überwurfmutter per Hand festdrehen. Manually tighten the cable bushing by turning the union nut. HINWEIS / NOTE Bei Photovoltaik-Leitungen mit einem maximalen Außendurchmesser von 7 mm ist es ggf. notwendig, die Überwurfmutter zurückzudrehen. If using photovoltaic cables with a maximum external diameter of 7 mm it may be neccessary to turn back the union nut. Loosen the nut of the pre-assembled connector. Bereiten Sie die zur Montage bestimmte Wand folgendermaßen vor: Lochdurchmesser: 12,1 ± 0,05 mm Max. Wandstärke bei Metallgehäusen: 6 mm Max. Wandstärke bei Kunststoffgehäusen: 10 mm Prepare the wall in question as follows: Hole diameter: 12.1 ± 0.05 Max. thickness of metall wall: 6 mm Max. thickness of plastic wall: 10 mm Montieren Sie den Steckverbinder mit der Dichtung auf der Außenseit der Wand und der Mutter auf der Innenseite der Wand. Mount the connectors with the sealing on the outer part of the wall and the nut on the inner part of the wall. Benötigtes Werkzeug: (1254660000 & 9918370000) Ziehen Sie die Mutter mit einem Drehmomentbereich zwischen 1,1 ± 0,2 Nm an. Required tool: Mounting tool (1254660000 & 9918370000) Tighten the nut with a torque ranging between 1.1 ± 0.2 Nm. HINWEIS / NOTE Um den Rotationsschutz angemessen zu nutzen, muss die Lochgeometrie gemäß den Dimensionen in der Montagezeichnung erstellt werden. Das Lochbild muss gratfrei sein. Soll der Rotationsschutz nicht genutzt werden, benötigen Sie eine Lochgeometrie von 12,1 ± 0,05 mm. In order to use the anti-rotation protection appropriately the hole geometry must be prepared in accordance with the dimensions in the assembly drawing. The hole pattern must be free of burrs. Check that the fastening is correct by gently pulling at the coupling. Die Gehäuseteile des Steckers können von Hand gelöst werden. The housings of the plug can be separated manually.
