Sounder DS 5-DN
with externally adjustable sound level
ELECTRO-TECHNOLOGY FOR INDUSTRY
Audible signaling devices
Sounder 105 dB (A)
DS 5-DN
• sounder with 2 externally controllable volume levels
• wherever sounders need to be operated virtually 24 hours a day for
alarm purposes, e.g. in port areas, container terminals, conveyor
belts in coal mines or for supplying power stations, it is important to
disturb local residents as little as possible. This is especially the case
in the evening and at night, when the ambient noise level is also
lower.
• can also be used to avoid startled reactions by starting the alarm
with a reduced sound level and increasing it in steps (soft alarm)
• the sound level can be reduced by an external controller or via a
floating contact
