Download the CY8CKIT-016 Kit Setup executable file from http://www.cypress.com/go/
CY8CKIT-016. If you already have PSoC
Designer and PSoC Programmer installed,
download CY8CKIT-016 Kit Only. Run the
executable file to start the installation process.
Set VDD DIG and VDD ANLG to 3.3 V using
SW3, J7, and J6 on the CY8CKIT-001.
During the installation process, continue with
the hardware setup.
Attach the LCD included with the PSoC DVK
and set the LCD power jumper (J12) to ON.

Connect VR to P0_7 and SW1 to P1_7on the
CY8CKIT-001; set J11 with a jumper.
On the CY8CKIT-036, set jumpers as follows:
J2 to SINGLE, J3 to 3.3 V, and J9 to 12V_DVK.
Plug the CY8C28 family processor module
into CY8CKIT-001.

Connect the MiniProg3 to the CY8C28 family
processor module.
After programming, remove MiniProg3 and
insert the CY8CKIT-036 into Port A of the
CY8CKIT-001; power the CY8CKIT-001.
Launch PSoC Programmer; load
CY8CKIT_016_Example_Project.hex, located at
C:\Program Files\Cypress\CY8CKIT-016\1.0\
Firmware\Hex_File.
In PSoC Programmer, use the following settings:
Programming Mode: Power Cycle, Auto Detection:
ON, Protocol: ISSP, Voltage: 5.0.
Click on Program to program the device.
The LCD will display Zone 1 temperature, set
fan speed, and actual fan speed
Pressing SW1 will display the same for Zone 2.
Pressing SW1 again will display Zone temperature and individual temperature sensor readings.
