ON THE DC1897A TO DAMPEN THE (POSSIBLE)
RINGING VOLTAGE DUE TO THE LONG INPUT LEADS.
ON A NORMAL, TYPICAL PCB, WITH SHORT TRACES,
THE CAPACITOR IS NOT NEEDED.
