Engineered to meet the 500 MHz SS-39200-023 Boot not included [5.84mm - 6.35mm] requirements of CAT6a specifications, the SS-39200 plugs offer robust shield terminations and strain relief which allow for a one-step termination process and provide a 360° connection between the cable shield and plug shield. The SS-39200 Series' high performance is achieved through an innovative mechanical design featuring a wire aligner and management bar combination that guarantees consistent twisted pair orientation during plug assembly. The wire aligner includes a patent-pending "cross talk zone" where a precise amount of cross talk is introduced to the plug allowing for centered near end cross talk (NEXT) performance on pairs 3,6 - 4,5 according to ANSI/TIA-568-B.2-10 and IEC 60603-7-51 standards. This wire aligner feature also provides the cable assembler with a visual and mechanical means for building consistent assemblies capable of delivering CAT6a performance. As a result, operator efficiency in building patch cables improves immediately and over the long term, and productivity is much higher than with typical CAT6 or CAT6a plug assemblies. For increased space efficiency, the boot design of the plug does not increase the overall width, making the SS-39200 Series ideal for use in high-density routers and switches.
