The KB3361 is available in either a programmable
version with external feedback resistors. It can
deliver up to 800mA of load current while maintai27µA no load quiescent current. The 1.4MHz
ning a low 75
The 1.4MHz switching frequency minimizes the size
of external components while keeping switching
losses low.The KB3361 feedback and control
delivers excel lent load regulation and transient
response with a small output inductor and capacitor.
The KB3361 is designed to maintain high efficiency throughout the operating range and provides
fast turn-on time.
APPLICATIONS
■
The KB3361 SwitchReg is a member of
Kingbor(KB) product family. It is a 1.4MHz stepdown converter with an input voltage range of 2.5V
to 6.5V and output as low as 0.6V. Its low supply
current, small size, and high switching frequency
make the KB3361 the ideal choice for portable
applications.

PIN FUNCTIONS
RUN (Pin 1): Run Control Input. Forcing this pin above
1.5V enables the part. Forcing this pin below 0.6V shuts
down the device. In shutdown, all functions are disabled
drawing <1µA supply current. Do not leave RUN floating.
GND (Pin 2): Ground Pin.
VIN (Pin 4): Main Supply Pin. Must be closely decoupled
to GND, Pin 2, with a 4.7µF or greater Tan capacitor.
VFB (Pin 5) (kB3361): Feedback Pin. Receives the feedback voltage from an external resistive divider across the
output.
SW (Pin 3): Switch Node Connection to Inductor. This pin
connects to the drains of the internal main and synchronous power MOSFET switches.
