The 473 series is cylindrical type in 4.7mm diameter with inverted cone top
resulting in a very wide angle effect.
This series is most suitable for panel display.
The semi-conductor materials used are:

GaAsP/GaP for (473VYC/VYT)
AlGalnP for (473UIC)
GaAlAs for (473UR1C/UR2C, 473HR3C, HR3T)
