This required customers to confirm temperature characteristic part by part in our catalog or specifications. Taiyo Yuden is therefore changing its part numbering system to clearly indicate the EIA temperature characteristics for Class 2 (high dielectric constant) capacitors in the part number itself for our lineup of multi-layer ceramic capacitors. Part Number Example: T M K 1 0 7 B J 1 0 5 K A - T | Temperature Characteristic Code | Temperature EIA Temperature Characteristic Code Characteristic BJ X5R B7 X7R B6 X6R C7 X7S C6 X6S C5 X5S F Y5V Taiyo Yuden will begin immediately accepting orders for the parts with the new temperature characteristic indicators. Last orders for “BJ” parts with X7R dielectric are due by March 31, 2008. Shipments for “BJ/X7R” dielectric parts must be shipped from Taiyo Yuden (USA) Inc. warehouse by April 30, 2008.
