A. Introduction
HE84772 is a member of 8-bit Micro-controller series developed by King Billion Electronics Ltd. User
can chose any one of combination among 32COM:

Driver + 48 Bit I/O Port】. Users can choose one of LCD configuration through “Mask Option”. With
built-in regulator circuit, LCD display will be stable. The built-in OP comparator can be used with
(light、voice、temperature、humility) sensor and used as battery low detection. 7-bit current-type D/A
converter and PWM device provide the complete speech output mechanism. The 512K ROM Size can be
used in the storage of speech、graphic、text etc.. It can be used in Translator、Data Bank、Pocket Dialer、
Educational Toy、Digital Voice Recording System etc
The instruction set of HE8XXXX are quite easy to learn and simple to use. Only about thirty instructions
with four-type addressing mode are provided. Most of instructions take only 3 oscillator clocks (machine
cycles). The processing power is enough to most of battery operation system.

Operation Mode:
DUAL、FAST、SLOW、IDLE、SLEEP Mode.
With WDT (WATCH DOG TIMER) to prevent deadlock condition.
24~48 bit Bi-directional I/O port. Mask Option can select PUSH-PULL or OPEN DRAIN output
mode for each I/O pin. 24 of them are shared with LCD segment pins.
The new built-in hardware auto scan keyboard (4*20) (shared with LCD SEG Pin) not only reduces
the hardware cost, but also reduces the firmware effort.
One built-in OP comparator.
One Voltage Detector with two detecting threshold Vth. (Vth=2.4V/2.4v).
Users can select any one of four LCD configuration---32COM*128SEG LCD , 48COM*112SEG
LCD , 64COM*96SEG LCD or 80COM*80SEG LCD. All of LCD configuration are B
TYPE(please refer to HE80000 user’s manual, section 4.3.9 LCD control register)。It is built-in
type-III regulator, the LCD can display stably. The highest LCD voltage LVP must small than 8.5
Volt.
LCDC[7:0]=[---G GGBE]。G : gray level control、B :blank(1)、E: enable(1)。
Normally, The LCD refresh rate is around 64 Hz. But for this IC, 32 COM configuration ~= 170 Hz
and 48 COM configuration ~= 110 Hz
One 7-bit current-type DAC output.
PWM device. (No Rate Selection, connect with VDD & PWMP)
