The AHA4501 Windows Evaluation Software emulates the functionality of the AHA4501 Turbo Product Code Encoder/Decoder integrated circuit. This Windows 95 based software encodes and decodes user data files. The encoding/decoding performed in software exactly matches the operation of the AHA4501 TPC integrated circuit. Configuration control is provided using the same parameters as the AHA4501 IC. Performance of the AHA4501 device can be modeled. Eb/No vs. BER (Bit Error Rate) curves can be generated for all codes supported by the AHA4501 device. Data rate, channel rate and latency of the AHA4501 device can be computed for all supported configurations.
