FIRST AID MEASURES
First Aid - Inhalation
Remove affected person to fresh air, and if still feeling unwell seek medical attention.
First Aid - Skin
Wash skin with plenty of soap and water.
First Aid - Eyes
Flush eyes immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
First Aid - Ingestion
Rinse mouth with water then give plenty of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical
advice.

FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
No unusual fire hazards.
If product is involved in fire extinguish with dry powder, foam or carbon dioxide.
Thermal decomposition would produce a complex variety of chemical species, some of which could
be irritating and/or harmful if inhaled in significant volumes.

ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Ventilate area.
Eliminate sources of ignition.
For small spills wipe up with paper towel and place in container for disposal.
For large spills absorb onto inert absorbent material and place in sealed container for disposal.

Wash spillage site thoroughly with soap and water or detergent solution.

Handling
Use in well ventilated area.
Avoid inhaling vapour.
Adequate ventilation is recommended to remove traces of odour.
Avoid sources of ignition - no smoking.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Storage
Storage temperature range 1°C to 25°C.
Store away from heat in a cool, well-ventilated area.
Store away from direct sunlight.

EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION
Good industrial hygiene practices should be observed.
In circumstances where there is a potential for prolonged or repeated skin contact, the use of
disposable gloves (polyethylene, natural rubber or equivalent ester-resistant material) is
recommended.

The product is relatively stable under normal conditions of use.
Extreme heat or exposure to flame should be avoided.
11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Inhalation
This product is harmful by inhalation.
Inhalation of vapours may cause headaches or dizziness.
May cause irritation to respiratory system and mucous membranes if used in confined spaces.
Skin
This product is classified as a skin irritant.
Solvent may remove essential oils from the skin making it susceptible to attack from other

This product is considered to be of low toxicity.
May irritate the digestive tract. Ingestion of large quantities may cause damage to liver or kidneys.
12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Keep away from drains and open waters.
Biodegradable product of low ecotoxicity.
Biological and Chemical Oxygen Demands (BOD and COD) of cured Loctite products are
insignificant.
In the cured state contribution of this product to Environmental Hazards is insignificant in
comparison to articles in which it is used.
13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
After use, tubes, cartons and bottles containing residual product should be disposed of as
"chemically contaminated waste" in an authorised legal land fill site or incinerated.
Dispose of in accordance with local and national regulations.
Incineration under controlled conditions recommended.
Contribution of this product to waste is very insignificant in comparison to article in which it is used.
Regulations governing disposal of individual articles apply.
