DIGITAL VOICE RECORDER CONTROLLER IC
1. OVERVIEW
The AP732 is a digital voice recorder (DVR) controller IC for digital recording and playing back of speech signal.
AP732 features a built-in a 16-bit DSP for speech signal encoding and decoding, and a 8-bit MCU for handling user
interface and memory management function. Embedded with NAND flash interface, AP732 can store recorded speech
signal to Multi-Level Cell NAND flash memory. The built-in USB interface supports the transfer of recorded message
from the DVR unit to the personal computer for storage backup. AP732 also features built-in codec with automatic
level control input which helps to minimize the external components necessary for building a microphone related
product.
