When integrated with Opticomm systems, SFPs can be used to provide for optical wavelength conversion, switching, routing, optical budget amplification, and simply to accommodate requirements for additional optical ports. SFPs can accommodate Multimode or Singlemode fiber and simplex or duplex transmission at the wavelengths ranging within the 1270nm-1610nm spectrum. Standard wavelengths (850, 1310 and 1550) along with CWDM and DWDM versions are available.
