88L2000 Product Brief

Marvell 88L2000
GNSS Hybrid Location Processor
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Marvell® 88L2000 GNSS Hybrid Location Processor delivers the lowest-power location solution in the smallest
size for embedded systems including smart phones, feature phones, notebooks, tablets, cameras, and other mobile
devices. The 88L2000 provides accurate position data, both outdoors and indoors, useful for turn-by-turn navigation,
location-based services and games, asset tracking, social networking, and geotagging. The 88L2000 supports GPS,
Glonass, and Compass satellite constellations. It provides both autonomous and assisted GNSS modes and is fully
3GPP and E911 compliant. The 88L2000 is integrated with Wi-Fi and Cell-ID positioning technologies as well as MEMS
sensors that deliver accurate location and motion sensing, even in the absence of GNSS satellite signals.
Environmentally aware and intelligent algorithms ensure that only the necessary technology components are
activated to quickly and efficiently determine the device’s location, while using as little energy as possible.
