Founded in 1970, Rhombus Industries Incorporated is a privately owned corporation and a leading designer and
manufacturer of transformers and magnetic products. Our headquarters is located in Huntington Beach, California and
includes engineering, research and development, complete manufacturing capabilities, marketing and extensive in-house
environmental testing capabilities. Supporting the Huntington Beach facility is our privately owned and operated subassembly operation located in Thailand. Insuring the accuracy, consistency, and overall quality of Rhombus products is
of primary concern. All of our products are designed and built to meet the most demanding reliability requirements. We
have an extensive quality control program which incorporates statistical process control and is also in strict compliance
with MIL-I-45208.

Phase Reflow Processes
For use as a dual inductor, single inductor, or
transformer. Connect in series for high
inductance values or wired in parallel for less
inductance, but twice the current capacity.
As a 1:1 transformer, they can provide a
minimum of 500 volts isolation with good
frequency response.
These parts are manufactured using Sendust
material. Lower cost versions of these
products are available using powdered iron,
however, there is an increase in core loss.

Custom Switch Mode Magnetics
For main power, drive, auxiliary transformers and switch mode inductors, Rhombus Industries has been a
dependable, cost effective supplier of switch mode magnetics to the power supply market. If you are currently

Our custom output power inductors are built using Powdered Iron, MPP or Sendust materials. As required,

Core Winding Services
Rhombus Industries offers Hand Winding to address our Customer's unique Magnetic
needs. Utilizing the most cost-effective techniques and competitive labor rates, we are able
to wind small toroids (up to 6 mm outside diameter) at significantly reduced costs compared
to U.S. production.
Avoid the hassle of dealing with offshore suppliers, while still enjoying offshore pricing.

Mechanical Criteria:
Wire gauges from #32 to #42 AWG.
Toroids up to 6 mm outside diameter

Tinning of leads is available at additional cost.
