2. Connect to the Internet
3. Run "SW Update" to update the BIOS, programs and drivers to their latest version
4. Run Windows Update to update to the latest version


5. Choose "Start" in the Windows Update window

Download the necessary files and agree to the terms and conditions, then install.
6. Finish Windows installation according to the instructions

(Method 2) Upgrading During User Registration

You can upgrade to Windows 10 when you first register to use Windows 7 and Windows 8.1
1. Computer power on
2. Register as a user on the computer you purchased with Windows 7/Windows 8.1
3. Install according to the user registration instructions. You must select an Internet connection
at the Internet connection stage.
4. At the user registration screen, select "Upgrade"
5. When Windows installation is complete, the latest version of Windows is automatically
installed.

(Method 3) DVD Installation While Logged into Windows (for special commercial customers)
Prepare the Windows 10 installation DVD purchased from MS or a retailer

1. Insert the Windows 10 DVD and then wait for it to run automatically

If it does not run automatically, double-click on "setup.exe" (

2. Select "Download and install updates (recommended)" and then "Next"
3. Enter your Windows 10 product key and select "Next"
4. Click the "I Agree" button for the user agreement and then, in the installation preparation
completion window, click "Change what to keep"
5. Select “Nothing" and then "Next"
6. Finish Windows installation according to the instructions
7. After basic settings, run "SW Update“ (

Prepare the Windows 10 installation DVD purchased from MS or a retailer

1. Insert the Windows 10 DVD and then turn your computer's power on
2. Press the F10 key and select DVD from the list of booting devices
Alternatively, press the F2 key to enter the BIOS and set the DVD as the first boot device
3. When the "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD" message appears, press any key.
4. Go to the Windows 10 installation screen after rebooting
5. Choose the language, time, keyboard type, etc. that you
will use and select "Next"
6. Click the "Install Now" button to start installation
7. Enter your Windows 10 product key and select "Next"
8. Check "I agree" to the terms of use and then click "Next"

A: Region and language has to match during initial setting of Windows 10 in order to get Cortana working.
The following countries and languages will be supported in 2015: US-English, UK-English, Germany-German,
France-French, Italia-Italian, Spain-Spanish and China-Chinese(Simplified).
