SY84402L Electrical Evaluation Board Evaluation Board Setting and Operation Performance 1. The driver is on by default. To disable it install a jumper on J7. 2. Turn R1 completely clockwise to set the modulation to its minimum (VCTRL=VCC). 3. Connect the input IN (J1) and /IN (J2) to the output of the pattern generator. 4. Connect the output Q (J4) and /Q (J3) to the scope. 5. Connect 3.3V to J5 (red) and GND to J6 (black) to power the board. 6. Turn R1 counter-clockwise to increase modulation current. The modulation current is given by: IMOD = Eye amplitude / RLoad 7. To reverse the output data polarity install a jumper on J8.
