Alcoa Architectural Products | Strength You Can Build On.
When the Grand Rapids-based research
and development company Workstage
teamed up with architect URS to design
a series of six new Early Childhood
Development Centers for the Detroit
Public School System, they sought to
create an environment that reflected a
tremendous focus on lighting, air
quality, sound, technological needs and
space. By choosing Reynobond® ACM
panels for fascia and coping, the team
achieved a smooth, seamless surface
that maintained clean, crisp lines throughout
all building interiors—creating well-lit,
soaring educational spaces.
FABRICATOR:
Riverside Group
Windsor, Ontario
GENERAL CONTRACTOR:

The 26,000 square feet of Reynobond used
throughout the six buildings was installed
using the Riverside Group’s R4-300 dry
Detroit, Michigan
joint pressure equalized rainscreen system.
COLORS:
Bright Silver Metallic
This system eliminates the need for
sealants within the panel joints by locating
the main seal behind the panels—where
they are protected from the exterior
elements. The result is a low-maintenance,
aesthetically pleasing cladding system
with a long service life.
