GAS DISCHARGE TUBES Bourns Adds Six New Series of GDT Products Riverside, California - July 11, 2012 - Bourns is pleased to announce the release of six new series of Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs). These new series target telecommunications, industrial and consumer electronics applications requiring light- to medium-duty current handling capabilities. The GDT devices are offered in 2-electrode and 3-electrode versions with maximum surge current ratings of 5 - 20 kA. Packages offered in these new series range from miniature surface mount and axial styles to standard axial and radial leaded versions.
