The LT 4320 simulates an ideal diode bridge by controlling four N-channel MOSFETs, significantly reducing heat dissipation and maximizing voltage to the application. Heat sinks can be eliminated, reducing solution size and cost. More power is available to the end application instead of being wasted as heat. Low voltage applications also benefit with the increased headroom provided by the MOSFET bridge.
