FPGAS have become an increasingly
important resource for implementing
software radio functions such as digital
downconverters. Recently updated to its 7th
edition, this handbook introduces the basics
of FPGA technology and its relationship to
SDR systems. Features and benefits of
FPGA-based products are presented along
with Pentek offerings and applications that
utilize FPGA technology. It's yours, free, just

Crystek's CVCO55CCQ-3500-3500 VCO (Voltage
Controlled Oscillator) operates at 3500 MHz with a
control voltage range of 0.3 V~4.9 V. This VCO features
a typical phase noise of -115 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset
and has excellent linearity. Output power is typically +6
dBm.
Engineered and manufactured in the USA, the model
CVCO55CCQ-3500-3500 is packaged in the industrystandard 0.5-in. x 0.5-in. SMD package. Input voltage is
typ. 5V, with a typ. current consumption of 27 mA.
Pulling and Pushing are minimized to 0.3 MHz and 0.1
MHz/V, respectively. Second harmonic suppression is -12
dBc typical.
The CVCO55CCQ-3500-3500 is ideal for use in applications such as digital radio equipment, fixed
wireless access, satellite communications systems, and base stations.
