Riedon's high quality UV Series power resistors are used for vertical mounting on PC boards
where tolerance, TCR, stability and reliability are important. UV series resistance elements are potted
into ceramic cases with a special high temperature, inorganic compound that provides high thermal
conductivity and humidity resistance. The construction results in a completely flameproof package.
The resistance element is a completely welded assembly. The resistance wire is wound on a
centerless ground ceramic core with controlled low tension. Leads are solderable and weldable. Both
leads are located at one end of the ceramic case, which has stand-offs for vertical mounting on PC
boards.
