The input of the filter can be driven either single-ended or differentially. The EVAL-FLTR-DF-1RZ active filter evaluation board is designed to work with the Analog Devices, Inc., differential amplifiers. The filter board enables quick prototyping of two- or three-pole multiple feedback active filters. The board schematic shown in Figure 1 is for a low-pass filter. Converting the board from a low-pass filter to a high-pass filter is accomplished by swapping the location of the filters resistors and capacitors. The active filter evaluation boards are bare, which enables users to customize the filter design. The filter board assembly drawing is shown in Figure 2. All components are 0603 case sizes with the exception of the large bypass capacitors, which are 3216 case sizes. +VS C11 10µF + C10 0.1µF AGND R2 R4 R5 VIN1 VOUT1 C1 R1 C2 GND C4 C5 7 V+ R3 R9 C3 3 8 1 U1 5 NC VOCM 4 V– 2 C7 6 GND C6 R10 GND VIN2 R11 R6 R7 VOUT2 R8 AGND GND + C9 –VS 10µF GND 07954-001 C8 0.1µF Figure 1.
