Pneumatic Transmitters Series 50 Pneumatic Differential Pressure Transmitters Introduction Features & Benefits Welded body construction accommodates installation in harsh environments Continuously adjustable internal damping Process fluid isolation Standard Hastelloy C-276 diaphragms and trim Overrange and handling protection Material NACE Standard MR-01-75 compliant Description The Model 50DP3 Pneumatic Differential Pressure Transmitter Delta-P Cell and the Model 50PP36 Pneumatic Differential Pressure Transmitter measure the difference between two related process pressures and convert the calculation to a proportional signal. They are “force-balance” devices with built-in adjustable damping and overrange protection to the full static pressure limit. Adjustments include zero span and damping, which can be made from the exterior of the transmitter. The span adjustment is located under the transmitter cover. A mounting is furnished to attach the transmitter to a 2" vertical or horizontal pipe. The process connectors are on 2-1/8" centers, which match the conventional orifice plate flange dimensions. For convenience, the process flanges with flange adapters can be rotated 180°, or the body section can be turned around to reverse the high and low pressure sides. Accessory items typically include a 3-valve bypass manifold, a combination filter-drip well-regulator, pressure gauges, and a suppression-elevation kit.
