Topics of FY2012 Obtained a loan from the Development Bank of Japan The Development Bank of Japan provided a loan to NDK in June 2011, in recognition of its CO2 reduction and recycling activities. (Covered by Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun, Posted the power consumption status on the intranet From the summer of 2011, the power consumption status was posted on the intranet to share information. If the consumption reaches the peak, an announce is made to warn each department to reduce power consumption. Expanded environmental activities (activity status at non-production companies/bases) ● The scope of the NDK group's environmental management has been expanded from 7 companies and 7 bases to all bases (14 companies and 21 bases)! The NDK group's all bases (14 companies and 21 bases) have been striving for successful environmental management since April 2012. Our major activities include energy-saving, recycling, partial use of lights, disuse of lights at lunchtime, moderate air conditioning, reduction and recycle of paper, both side printing, disuse of lights and monitors when not in use, disuse of the electric identification sign after closing the office and use of LED lights.
