Introduction
This document describes CC3100 and CC3200 servicepack 1.0.0.1.1. This service pack is the
first production servicepack. Previous versions referred as engineering releases and should not
be used for production. This servicepack should be used with SDK 1.0.0 and replaces service
pack version 1.0.0.1.0.

Procedure to Upgrade from Servicepack 1.0.0.1.0 to Servicepack 1.0.0.1.1
To upgrade from Servicepack 1.0.0.1.0, the new servicepack “servicepack_1.0.0.1.1” needs to
be flashed on CC3100/3200. The Service pack “servicepack_1.0.0.1.1” is provided thru
CC31xx_CC32xx_ServicePack-1.0.0.1.1-windows-installer.exe downloadable from
http://www.ti.com/tool/cc3200sdk or http://www.ti.com/tool/cc3100sdk.

All features, limitation, constraints and issues reported in SDK1.0.0 release notes apply to this
servicepack.
New items reported in this servicepack release notes for the first time apply to previous
servicepack.

Product Constrains
File System - File Size is limited to 1MByte (No Error if trying to create a larger size)
Network Stack - TCP socket keep alive timeout is set to 5Min (non configurable)
Host – Minimum timeout for sl_Stop API is 10ms “sl_stop(10)”. Zero timeout should be
avoided.

Host (SPI): Sync loss may occur after the Host is sending CNYS and wait for a long
period of time before reading the response
In case of the Read operation from the Host is been interrupted by a higher interrupt
for a long duration the Host and device can get out of Sync – Interrupting the
communication between the Host and Device in the middle of transaction should be
avoided

Host: sl_NetCfgGet returns -2001 when asking the MAc address of the device
While getting the MAC address the NWP sends the 8 bytes but the request was for 6
bytes (size of MAC). The result is trimmed to 6 bytes and error is returned although
the value in the buffer contains the correct MAC address.
