Tiny microprocessor supervisors with
manual reset
Description
The APX811 and APX812 are
diodes latest addition to its
microprocessor supervisor
family.
These industry standard
devices provide power supply
monitoring for 2.5V, 3.0V, 3.3V
and 5V systems; ensuring that
µP/µC start up and recover
from power supply glitches into
a known state.
The APX811 has an active low
push-pull reset output while the
APX812 has an active high
push-pull reset output.
They are pin compatible to the
MAX811/MAX812 devices in
the tiny SOT143 package.
The Diodes advantage
The APX810 and APX8123156 provide a simple cost effective solution for
µP/µC power supply supervisory applications
ƒ Precision µP supervisor to monitor 2.5V, 3.0V, 3.3V and 5V power
supplies
Improves circuit reliability at low cost.
They are similar in function to
the APX809/APX810 and have
the added benefit of a manual
reset.
ƒ Wide range of thresholds to meet the needs of 2.5V, 3.0V, 3.3V
Both are available in green
mold compound as standard.
ƒ Manual reset (MR) input
and 5V power supplies
The right threshold can be chosen to meet the needs of the system
ƒ Small footprint SOT143 green package
Small PCB area and halogen free
Hardwire reset function to create manual reset or simple way of
coupling multiple supervisors together
ƒ No external components required
