F-xASI/SDI-Tx/Rx
The F-xASI/SDI is a copper to fiber
media adapter for either DVB-ASI or
SD-SDI signals. The unit has up to
eight channels that work independently
of each other. Each channel can carry
either a DVB-ASI signal or an SD-SDI signal. Up to eight channels are then multiplexed onto a single
fiber for transport. Our units employ CWDM technology for optical multiplexing. Based on users needs
a variety of wavelenghts can be used for the transmitter optics. All transmittion signals are multiplexed
onto a single fiber for transport. The signals are then separated at the receiver. The F-xASI/SDI
provides up to 8 independent DVB-ASI/SDI pipes. There are BNC connectors for the copper inputs
and outputs. The optical connections can be configured for SC, SC(APC), ST, or FC connectors. The
F-xASI/SDI features easy to read diagnostic LED's for system and link status.
