SEMICONDUCTOR TECHNICAL DATA The MC100LVEL59 is a triple 2:1 multiplexer with differential outputs. The MC100EL59 is pin and functionally equivalent to the MC100LVEL59 but is specified for operation at the standard 100E ECL voltage supply. The output data of the muxes can be controlled individually via the select inputs or as a group via the common select input. The flexibile selection scheme makes the device useful for both data path and random logic applications. • • • • • • Individual or Common Select Controls 20 20–Lead SOIC Packaging 1 500ps Typical Propagation Delays Supports Both Standard and Low Voltage 100K ECL DW SUFFIX PLASTIC SOIC PACKAGE CASE 751D–04 Internal Input Pulldown Resistors >2000V ESD Protection Logic Diagram and Pinout: 20–Lead SOIC (Top View) VCC Q0 Q0 VCC Q1 Q1 VCC Q2 Q2 VEE 20 19 18 17 16 15 14 13 12 11 1 0 1 0 1 TRUTH TABLE 0 SEL Data H L a b PIN NAMES 1 2 COM_SEL D0a 3 D0b 4 5 SEL0 D1a 6 7 8 D1b SEL1 D2a 9 10 D2b SEL2 Pins Function D0a–D1a D0b–D1b SEL0–SEL1 COM_SEL Q0–Q2 Q0–Q2 Input Data a Input Data b Individual Select Input Common Select Input True Outputs Inverted Outputs 4/95 Motorola, Inc. 1996 4–1 REV 1 MC100LVEL59 MC100EL59 MC100LVEL59 DC CHARACTERISTICS (VEE = –3.0V to –3.8V; VCC = GND) –40°C Symbol Characteristic IEE Power Supply Current IIH Input HIGH Current Min 0°C Typ Max 27 32 Min 25°C Typ Max 27 32 150 Min 85°C Typ Max 27 32 150 Min Typ Max Unit 27 32 mA 150 µA Max Unit 690 690 690 ps 150 MC100LVEL59 AC CHARACTERISTICS (VEE = –3.0V to –3.8V; VCC = GND) –40°C Symbol Characteristic Min tPLH tPHL Propagation DATA→Q/Q Delay SEL→Q/Q COM_SEL→Q/Q 340 340 340 tsk(O) Output–Output Skew Any Dn, Dm to Q tr tf Output Rise/Fall Times Q (20% – 80%) Typ 0°C Max Min 690 690 690 340 340 340 25°C Typ Max Min 690 690 690 340 340 340 Typ 85°C Max Min 690 690 690 340 340 340 Typ ps 100 200 100 540 200 540 100 200 540 100 200 540 ps Typ Max Unit 27 32 mA 150 µA Max Unit 690 690 690 ps MC100EL59 DC CHARACTERISTICS (VEE = –4.2V to –5.5V; VCC = GND) –40°C Symbol Characteristic IEE Power Supply Current IIH Input HIGH Current Min 0°C Typ Max 27 32 Min 25°C Typ Max 27 32 150 Min 85°C Typ Max 27 32 150 Min 150 MC100EL59 AC CHARACTERISTICS (VEE = –4.2V to –5.5V; VCC = GND) –40°C Symbol Characteristic Min tPLH tPHL Propagation DATA→Q/Q Delay SEL→Q/Q COM_SEL→Q/Q 340 340 340 tsk(O) Output–Output Skew Any Dn, Dm to Q tr tf Output Rise/Fall Times Q (20% – 80%) MOTOROLA Typ 0°C Max Min 690 690 690 340 340 340 Typ 25°C Max Min 690 690 690 340 340 340 Typ 85°C Max Min 690 690 690 340 340 340 Typ ps 100 200 540 100 200 540 4–2 100 200 540 100 200 540 ps ECLinPS and ECLinPS Lite DL140 — Rev 3 MC100LVEL59 MC100EL59 OUTLINE DIMENSIONS DW SUFFIX PLASTIC SOIC PACKAGE CASE 751D–04 ISSUE E –A – 20 NOTES: 1.
