The high sensitivity combined with the integrated +20 dBm power amplifier creates the highest link budget making it optimal for any application requiring range. This modulation technique also provides significant advantages in blocking and selectivity over FSK. The devices also support high performance (G)FSK for WMBus, IEEE802.15.4g, and other legacy modes. Semtech’s technology overcomes a typical trade-off of performance versus current consumption. The devices deliver exceptional phase noise, selectivity, receiver linearity, and IIP3 for significantly lower current consumption than competing devices.
