The 3CX5000A7 high-mu triode is designed for use as a cathode driven Class AB power amplifier. The tube does not require a socket as it is designed to bolt directly to the chassis by means of the grid flange. Cathode and heater connections are made by bolting directly to the amplifier circuitry. These features reduce equipment cost and complexity Class of Operation AB Characteristics Plate Dissipation (Max.) Screen Dissipation (Max.) Grid Dissipation (Max.)
