supports imaging and
transmission needs in one
user-friendly application
HUITS is Microsoft-Windows 2000/XP® compatible software
for fast and reliable transmission of high-resolution digital
imagery, motion video clips, text, and other data over difficult
tactical radio communications channels. Included with the
software is a Type II PC card or PCI card to provide a
synchronous digital interface between the computer and the
communications equipment.
With HUITS, you have support for all your imaging and transmission needs in one user-friendly application. The software
allows acquisition of imagery from a wide variety of digital
cameras, scanners, and analog video sources. Once acquired,
images can be transmitted with a single button click, using
standard communications and encryption equipment. Images
may also be stored, processed, annotated, and printed.
HUITS is used for reconnaissance, surveillance, intelligence
gathering, and other applications that require near real-time
transmission of imagery and data. If desired, Harris provides
fully integrated systems that may include computers, camera
systems, printers, and communications equipment.
