The multiplexer is designed for low crosstalk in Low crosstalk in case of current-injection into case of current injection into the input protection diodes. ÿ input-protection diodes ÿ Low offset voltage < 4mV VS is used as the positive supply voltage for the buffer and has to ÿ Output voltage limitation to VDD be at least 2.5V higher than the maximum analog voltage to avoid ÿ Buffer output with high impedance tri-state-mode clipping or slew rate reduction of the output signal. ÿ I/O compatible to standard multiplexer 4051 ÿ – 40°C to + 85°C operating temperature The buffer drives a 1nF load capacitance to avoid EMI disturbance ÿ SO16n package of the output signal. To achieve high output slewrates, this capacitance is used for compensation also and thus has to be applied. APPLICATION ÿ Buffered analog multiplexing A high level on pin ENB disables the output buffer and switches it into high impedance mode. This allows multiple IC outputs to be connected in parallel. Additionally the VDD current consumption is reduced in tristate mode.
