Although PT2215 does not contain a software programming processor, it however has a ROM which can store the codes that have been transmitted. PT2215 provides an option for a single or multi system transmitter. A single system has up to a maximum of 8 different systems per chip whereby selection is via jumper wire or switch. The multi system option provides a maximum of 8 systems via key selection. Pin assignments and application circuit are optimized for easy PCB layout and costsaving advantages.
