1.25MHz, 600mA Synchronous Step-Down Regulator Description CYT2806 Features The CYT2806 is a high efficiency monolithic ¾ High Efficiency: Up to 96% synchronous buck regulator using a constant ¾ Very Low Quiescent Current: Only 20µA frequency, voltage mode architecture. The device During Operation is available in fixed output voltage of 1.8V and 1.5V ¾ 600mA Output Current and adjustable output voltage. Supply current ¾ 2.5V to 5V Input Voltage Range during operation is only 20µA and drop to ≤1µA in ¾ 1.25MHz Constant Frequency Operation shutdown. The 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage range ¾ No Schottky Diode Required makes the CYT2806 ideally suited for single Li-Ion ¾ Low Dropout Operation: 100% Duty Cycle battery-powered applications. 100% duty cycle ¾ Shutdown Mode draws ≤ 1µA Supply Current provides low dropout operation, extending battery ¾ Excellent Line and Load Transient Response life in portable systems. ¾ Overtemperature Protection ¾ Available in SOT Package Switching frequency is internally set at 1.25MHz, allowing the use of small surface mount inductors and capacitors.
