LOW COST TRACKING FUNCTIONALITY WITH A COMPACT DESIGN
Laird’s Track Device is a completely stand-alone product that contains: control circuitry, microprocessor,
software, cellular modem, GPS receiver, cellular antenna, GPS antenna, Accelerometer and discrete I/0; all
assembled into a compact plastic enclosure. Its compact form factor and low cost make it an ideal solution for
vehicle tracking and recovery and Usage Based Insurance markets. Laird’s integrated design is suited for interior
vehicle environments. With Over-The-Air (OTA) capability, this device can be installed in a vehicle without
removal concern. Discrete I/O circuits provide additional control over the vehicle such as starter disabling or door
unlock.
The Laird Track Device is CDMA/GSM based reliable solutions for various vehicle application markets. Once
installed, the software does not require any intervention from end user (Driver).
