• 14 AWG thru 1000 kcmil compressed tin-coated copper.
Class C stranding
• 6 AWG thru 1000 kcmil compact aluminum alloy (AA-8000 series).
Class B stranding
• Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE)
Product Features:
• RPV90 available in 600 V, 1000 V and 2000 V designs
• RPVU90 available in 1000 V design
• Meets the requirements of:
- CSA 22.2 No. 271 and No. 38
- The Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
• Rated 90°C for wet or dry locations
• Rated for direct burial
• Stable electrical properties over a broad temperature range
• Excellent resistance to crush and compression cuts
• Flame test compliances:
- Burning particles flame test
- For sizes 1/0 and larger: CSA/FT4
- Burning particles flame test
• Meets cold bend and cold impact tests at -40°C
• UV- and sunlight-resistant
