Hardware Notices
MX29GL512E’s footprint is compatible with S29GL512P(N) devices on 56-pin TSOP and 64-ball FBGA
packages. The 70-pin SSOP package is only provided on Macronix MX29GL512E device.
●High Voltage Vhv (Vhh)
The high voltage Vhv (Vhh in S29GL) might apply on A9 and WP#/ACC pins, and the voltage range is different
between MX29GL512E and S29GL512P(N) device. The MX29GL offers Vhv ranging from 9.5V to 10.5V, while
S29GL series offers Vhh from 11.5 to 12.5V.
●WP# Feature
MX29GL512E products provides the same WP# pin and the features as S29GL512P(N) devices. The first or last
sector was protected while WP# =Vil.
