The LP SERIES of PAIRUI is available with a
board temperature detection input. A simple
thermal feedback circuit can be used to reduce
the current as the LED board temperature rises
to prevent the LEDs from damage or luminous
decay at high temperature. This feature is critical in certain applications where the light must
not fail even when the ambient temperature
exceeds the design limits. High bay, low bay,
parking lot and street lights are examples
where reliable and continuous lighting is
required for safety. The thermistor sensor
changes its resistance sharply above a certain
temperature. A set temperature resistor is used
to program the dimming feedback to start at
any desired LED case temperature. As the drive
current decreases, the power dissipated in the
LED also decreases, limiting the potential
danger of over-temperature. Typical values are
available on the datasheet of LP SERIES in the
Typical Characteristics Curve chapter.

Power Line Communication (PLC) carries data
on a conductor that is also used simultaneously for AC electric power transmission or
electric power distribution to consumers. It is
not limited to weather conditions and there is
no need for additional network, thus reliable,
saving the cost and energy. A PLC based LED
streetlight control system consists of server,
centralized controllers and city-street-light controllers. Their specialized interactive mode enables data acquisition, status monitoring and

ZigBee
ZigBee is a low cost, low power, wireless mesh
network standard. The low cost allows the
technology to be widely deployed in wireless
control and monitoring applications. Low power
usage allows longer life with smaller batteries.
Mesh networking provides high reliability and
more extensive range. ZigBee is based on an
IEEE 802.15 standard. Data transmission rates
vary from 20 kilobits/second in the 868 MHz
frequency band to 250 kilobits/second in the
2.4 GHz frequency band. Compared with PLC,

To configure the dimming mode, you need to connect the LP series LED driver and a computer to the
programmer using USB cable, launch the software and find the port which the USB cable is connected
to until the port indicator turns green. The dimming mode of LP SERIES is available in 4 ways including
Timer, 0~10V, PWM and Resistor. Choosing dimming mode is just one click on the specific name and
SET.
ZigBee features its self-organizing ad-hoc digital radio networks. For the same purpose of
