Bourns Releases New Power Resistors
Riverside, California - October 3, 2006 - Bourns is pleased to announce the release of several new power resistor
models. The PWR4412-2S is a bare metal element through-hole shunt resistor exhibiting three different power
ratings of 1, 2 and 3 watts respectively with excellent resistance and TCR characteristics. The target applications
are current sensing in motor drives, power supplies, electro valves, and electricity meters.
The CHF2525CNT is a 50 ohm 40 watt resistor chip, which has a maximum VSWR of 1.2 to 9 GHz of operating
frequency. The resistor is used as a dummy load on products such as isolators, hybrid couplers and dividers in
specialist RF applications requiring very high frequencies such as military and satellite communications.
The CHF9838CNF is a 50 ohm 250 watt resistor mounted on a flange, which displays a maximum VSWR of
1.1 GHz to 2.2 GHz. This resistor is made with Aluminium Nitride material and is suitable for telecom and
broadcast equipment.
The CHF3020CBF is a 10 watt resistor mounted on a flange and designed to be used as a dummy load in a
coupler or as a balance resistor between phases in a Wilkinson divider primarily for broadcast and military RF
transmission equipment.
