The purpose of this notice is to inform you of a specification change PCN Type: Notice of a specification change . Product(s) Affected: High Boost HAM VI-HAM-xL, VI-HAMD-xL, VI-BAMD-xL VE-HAM-xL, VE-HAMD-xL, VE-BAMD-xL Specification Changes: The high boost HAM power de-rating below 110Vac has been changed from 9 watts/Vac to 11 watts/Vac (see attached chart). This results in a power reduction throughout this range with the maximum reduction at 85Vac. At 85Vac, maximum power has been reduced from 450W to 400W. Customer Impact: Customer impact is believed to be low. Most applications should have enough margin to absorb this change with no negative effect. Customers who do experience problems should contact the factory about having their HAMs specially screened to meet the previous power levels. Reliability/qualification summary There have been no internal changes to the HAM. This is strictly a specification change. No requalification was necessary.
