Description of Changes
Macronix introduces the MX25L512E and MX25L1006E as a replacement of the
MX25L512/MX25L512C and MX25L1005/MX25L1005C. All customers are requested to start the
migration for their existing design to the MX25L512E and MX25L1006E as soon as possible.
MX25L512E and MX25L1006E both support new features, Dual Output mode (1I/2O:Single
Input/Dual Output), and other functions which are compatible with MX25L512/MX25L512C and
MX25L1005/MX25L1005C.

Recommended Actions
Applications using the MX25L512/MX25L512C and MX25L1005/MX25L1005C need to migrate to
the MX25L512E and MX25L1006E, and new designs should only use MX25L512E and
MX25L1006E. Migrating to MX25L512E and MX25L1006E, you will still receive Macronix’s
continuous support to our customers.
