Dear Customers,
Macronix is introducing the MX25L3208E (110nm) as a replacement of MX25L3208D
(130nm). MX25L3208E supports new feature (1I/2O: single-input/dual-output) and other
functions that are compatible with the MX25L3208D. (General Comparison - page 2)
In x2 I/O mode, host system using the x2 I/O mode of MX25L3208D has to be migrated to
1I/2O mode of MX25L3208E.
To meet the growing demand for flash products, Macronix urges all customers using the
MX25L3208D to start migrating to MX25L3208E.
