The new 3-foot grid antenna offers a quick release feed horn that requires no tools for assembly. A quick release provides the flexibility to snap the antenna feed on or off during transport. The RF-7800W-AT013 utilizes the universal mounting bracket that is supplied with the RF-7800W-OU440 Broadband Ethernet Radio. With this mount, the RF-7800W-AT013 antenna is a lightweight assembly that can be used with most portable and fixed tubular masts. The radio bracket, included in the bundle with the radio, has been redesigned to allow the new 3-foot grid (and old) to be mounted like the rest of the cataloged antennas. This now simplifies the 3-foot grid antenna deployments and reduces the top load weight immensely. The antenna covers the frequency range 4.4 to 5 GHz which includes the public safety band. The RF-7800W-AT013 is uniquely designed to get the most gain for its size and weight and can handle harsh environments, making it ideal for nomadic and fixed-ground stations. The RF-7800W-AT013 can easily be mounted for horizontal or vertical polarization. This capability allows for collocation of multiple radios while minimizing interference.
